Ever wanted to go on certain conference but you weren’t able to go from reasons like COVID, or more usually the cost, a visa requirement or you had booked a previous appointment? Well, not anymore.

When we started building Polis and HEMOSY, one of the most important areas we wanted to develop was for the Events market.
We modeled this area like a virtual avenue and location for event planners to enjoy and take advantage of. The event area can handle a large number of people (from 1 000 up to 1 000 000), cohabiting the same virtual environment. This require a different server configuration that will be able to handle a large number of concurrent users.

Events organized in Polis can be time-defined, feature presentations, key notes and interactive sessions. They will have a greater freedom of speech, than other parts of Polis, like the Campus for example.

The events area will be beneficial for events visitors and event planning companies, with everyone looking for better ways to hold digital events beyond Zoom meetings..

For consumer-focused event-planning companies, Polis will create an additional profit line. Their target audience can be the world! They can promote the event to everyone, increase profits from tickets sold and market their product or service to a larger audience.

The events will also be open to users of other VR headset and devices to help maximize the audience but their interaction will be limited by the hardware.
