MOTTO vertical2

The traditional media has changed drastically since the introduction of sharing platforms (like YouTube)  and social networks (like Facebook and Twitter ). Many personalities have reached the level of trust usually reserved for professional journalists of long-standing.

Much of this is due to low cost of being a media and content creator in the digital age. If you are near the source of the news, you can quickly and cheaply share it with the world. Traditional media can’t be everywhere all the time, creating gaps that individuals can fill.

But there is an advantage that traditional media still holds: a large specialized and reliable network. But it can also be expensive to fly an expert to the studio for an interview, and having a Skype or Zoom chat on stage limits collaboration and creates security risks (who knows if there is someone behind the PC or a listening device in the room).

Some of the biggest stories in recent years had to be covered from different angles around the globe, covering some very complicated fields. Examples include the COVID outbreak and government responses, The US elections and Donald Trump’s fake-news agenda. These along with The Panama Papers, the NSA leaks just to mention a few show that news has become more personal and does have a massive impact on us all.

Here is where Polis can make the difference, it creates a secure space where journalists can collaborate with specialists and sources to cover important and complicated stories. And it reduces costs while increasing security. Polis creates an environment for collaboration and the HEMOSY secures communication between people, and ensures no one else is listening and that information is kept private.
